Our charity has a new job opportunity for a Community Hedging Project Officer, funded by a Southern Water Conservation grant, starting in April 2023.
Location: Home based, working in / travelling to the Manhood Peninsula, south of Chichester in West Sussex, when required (please see the full job description at the end of this post for more information).
Duration: Fixed-term position from April 2023 to March 2024
Hours: Part-time
The main purposes of the post are to:
Assess the evidence available for the Manhood Peninsula, select a suitable Parish and draw up a suitable planting plan in conjunction with the Steering Group and designated site staff.
Provide updates on the project for local groups, Parish, District and County Councils and for the MWHG newsletter.
Supervise volunteers
In addition:
The postholder will have a love of tree / shrub planting
